Museu Blau
The Museu Blau (Blue Museum), designed by architects Herzog & De Meuron, is a 9,000-square-metre building and the new public headquarters of the Natural Sciences Museum. It is in Diagonal Mar district and in the Forum Park, very close to the sea.
The Planeta Vida exhibition traces the history of evolution from the origins of the Earth to the present day, and is a place for temporary exhibitions and educational and informative activities for learning about nature. It also contains the more than three million specimens of great zoological, geological and botanical value, that have been collected during the more than 130-year history of the Natural Sciences Museum of Barcelona.
